Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RoadReady website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by RoadReady ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

RoadReady provides an electronic Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) platform designed for commercial motor vehicle fleets. The Service includes mobile inspection tools, defect tracking, record storage, and audit-ready report generation. RoadReady is a compliance tool — it does not provide legal advice, and use of the Service does not guarantee regulatory compliance.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will not attempt to reverse-engineer, disassemble, or interfere with the operation of the Service. You will not use the Service to store or transmit malicious code.

4. Your Data

You retain ownership of all inspection data, photos, and records you create using the Service. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you.

You may export your data at any time in PDF or CSV format. Upon account termination, we will retain your data for 12 months consistent with FMCSA retention requirements, after which it will be deleted unless you request earlier deletion.

5. Pricing and Payment

The Service is billed on a per-vehicle, per-month basis. Current pricing is listed on our website. We may change pricing with 30 days' advance notice. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

6. Availability and Support

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The mobile application is designed to work offline and sync when connectivity is restored. We are not liable for data loss caused by device failure or user error.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoadReady shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific compliance requirements or that it will be error-free. You are responsible for verifying that your use of the Service satisfies your regulatory obligations.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Data retention after termination is governed by our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
